So beautiful... and the authenticity adds to the appeal seeing the real clothes on the person of that time. Another point...the effortless sophistication of the ladies back them reflected a sense of dignity and maturity - and not in a negative way - not found in women today. I used to love wearing these clothes and strange but true, I would feel quite different wearing them!

All of you stop complaining about fashion and do something. Be different, be yourself, be unique. Stop shopping at malls! Make your own clothes if it makes you happy!

I dress old fashioned all the time, in fact I don't really own a computer. I go to the library to use a computer. I try very hard not to live like today. Cars today suck, jobs are scare because computers, robots, machines killed human labor, too much political correctness, too much spying using cell phones, towers, videos. Didn't need them then, don't need em now.

So much MORE erotic than nowadays fashion that leaves NOTRHING to the "imagination"...To the one below mentioning that it s disgusting using fur and other animal parts back then: For TODAY I agree with you, I ve been vegetarian myself (almost vegan) for more than 20 years now and would never wear anything with fur! But: That was back then when people had a different kind of attitude towards animals - I m glad MAN at least progressed a little bit more meantime and no longer do so.

Talulah, I completely agree with you! Fashion nowadays leaves nothing to the imagination at all, and to me, it just isn't attractive. And yes, fashion back then definitely was much more erotic than nowadays!

I too agree with you.I'd like to add that women from those days looked and acted like Ladies, and nowadays we have a bunch of tarts.

All these beautifully hand-made dresses - they look so GOOD and esthetic on ANY kind of figure one may have, enhances the shape and disguises what one does not think to be so perfect! Oh, WHY have these fashion times gone? I also think this covering kind of fashion is much mire sexy and erotic than this leaving nothing to the IMAGINATION nowadays and it makes nowaday s fashion seem so BORING and dull to me!
