Metroid Prime 100% Walkthrough Part 53 - Final Boss Battle Metroid Prime Form 2

A walkthrough of me going through Metroid Prime for Gamecube on Hard Mode. I am getting a 100% completion in both pickups and in logbook completion. Also, I'm using the normal route, no sequence breaking.

I battle the second, essence form of Metroid Prime, and beat it, and finish filling up the logbook.

is this normal mode? cuz you lost less life than i did. I was being more careful and wasting my ammos wisely and i was losing more than you. Thats f**** angers me! hard mode is sooo angrying! and yeah, next time, i think its better to ram into the phazon area while dropping a hyper bomb to kill those minions metroids, its better than fighting them in distance and ill be under prime already!

Nope, the entire run is done on Hard Mode. You can see in the file select screen in part 49 (parts 49-54 is one big part). And yeah, at first I always used the Power Bomb to kill the Metroids, but now I just use a small burst of the Phazon Beam when I feel like it.

Isn't it ironic how Phazon-base creatures are weak to Phazon-based attacks?

This second form... is actually quite disappointing... Its first form looks way harder... If only it had more attacks than a pathetic and predictable shockwave, a "head stretch" or something that is easily avoided if you keep your distance and that does not look painful anyway and spawning metroids, giving you the only mean of hurting it...

I got pwned by the first form, but if miraculously I had reached that part, I would easily have beaten it on my first try. :/
