@wyldemaniak she played at small venues because she wanted to work her way up the scale. she started in small clubs, then venues, theatres and now she's in arena's. smart of her :)

I don't usually give this sort of music a second thought, but I have to say that Gaga is different. If she continues her career on this trajectory she could be something really special. It would be unfair to compare her to her peers. This girl writes and composes her own material, plays piano beautifully, seems to have complete control of her image and is very sexy without being classically good looking. If and at this stage it is still a big IF she keeps evolving she could be legendary.
