  • makes me sad! a few minutes old he should be on mommy's chest bonding, certainly not getting all his vernix washed off! (should be rubbed in, not off)... plus a bath that early will make him chilly! :(

  • @BeachPeach822 This video was taken about 45 minutes after he was born, so he was on my chest for a little bit and they let me bond with him before the bath. :) However-I do agree with you that hospitals should wait longer before bathing a newborn.

I'm 8 months pregnant with my first baby- a little girl- and I'm really nervous- does it hurt really bad wen ur giving birth- please hive me the honest answer so I know what I'm xpecting :)

  • @789blackberry Hi! If you get pain meds (epidural), it is not that bad. The pushing part hurts a little but it is because you can feel a lot of pressure down there as the head emerges. Honestly, though, I have had worse pain from a horrible headache or food poisoning than labor pains. Hope this info helps and congrats on your baby! I am currently 4 months pregnant with baby #2 and actually considering a home water birth with this one. :)

  • Full head of hair!! Wow...did you have a lot of heartburn? Just wondering because I am currently 6 months pregnant and it's like the heartburn never ends! The old wive's tale is that he'll have a lot of hair. Congrats! He's beautiful :D

  • @JMConry Hi! No, not a lot a heartburn from what I remember. I had a VERY easy pregnancy and birth with this baby with little or no bad pregnancy symptoms. I am currently pregnant with this baby's little brother or sister and it is completely different...LOTS of bad symptoms this time in pregnancy, LOL! Congrats on your pregnancy! :)

I understand you. Clinics really don't show much tact towards brandnew little humans...:) if you are interested, check Leboyer...the guy advocated a very gentle birth...no screaming, no bright lights...

  • @BrookeEatsToast We start off even smaller. Like barely a tiny bean size. Actually we start off micro small that not even the naked eye can see.

  • sooooooo cute... :)))

  • @Photoshop211 My sister and I are like that. Im 28 now, She is 15. I had such fun with her though. :-) Congrats on your new sibling!
