I was born in Chicago in 1981, moved to Tampa in 1990 and have been here ever since. I still remember this commercial and Bozo the clown!


I will never forget the golden years of my childhood, little things like this help me remember.

BTW, they have empire carpet commercials here in tampa now for the last few years as well. When I first heard the commercial on tv I about fell out of my chair lol!

Last time I was in NY visiting family there. the Empire Today commercials just started there. And I was like whoa did I go back to Chicago already?

i am 27 i grew up in 90's chicago...what side are you from....south side (vincennes here) i am in the service now...i dont live there no more but i do remember empire commercial use to come on along with eagle auto insurance during jerry springer commercial breaks lol
