i wish kenny wayne shepard sang instead of the brown haired awful dude.

Like most guitarists, he's far too concerned with showing off here than playing a decent song. There was far more depth to the album version and in earlier live versions of this song. Granted, there's just he and Noah, but its not much of an excuse. Ever since (starting writing the album, I assume) "The Place You're In," he seems to have lost any regard for the music in favor of being a guitarist. I no longer find him as interesting as I once did.

i think we all would pay

@connorppowell True.

You can't really compare him to other guitarist. He's a blues man..and a hell of a good one. Every blues guitarist is too different to compare to the rest, generally.

you rock

@gitarrenvogel not sure what you said made any sense. but that guy can sing.

Why do ignorant shitbags constantly insist on comparing musicians to one another? every artist out there started doing what they do because of someone else, so wouldn't it stand to reason that Kenny's music would have a SRV feel to it? He's paying homage to a legend which any SRV fan should be grateful for and.... putting his own twist on things in the process. If you ever get the chance to see this guy live, DO IT! it's practically a religious experience.

He just doesn't look like having such an incredible voice!

@lameet13 Nope, but places like asos.com and topman.com have jackets like that all the time. Especially asos, just do a search for military jackets.
no ones stevie man. you just cant compare him with anyone else. its criminal. what you should do it compare kenny to the average guitarist, and you see him as the best modern guitarist. and he is! but if you go on saying "he'll never live up to the name of srv", then theres no way you can appreciate him as the stud he is. he doesnt have to be ridiculously innovative to rock.

Hee's an idea. Why don't they really record the Guitar Center Sessions on a CD for each artist and release them for sale. I would pay money to here my favorite musicians talk candidly and then turn around and play a song between questions.
