You said that cutting taxes increases revenue. If that's the case, wouldn't both parties support that revenue generating strategy?

They would not have more power over the people by increaseing tax revenue because people's power would grow larger than the government. Keeping taxs high keeps gorwth smaller and keeps power out people's hands. Empowerment is the farthest thing from your motto. First it was welfare, social security. I guess you don't understand how tax revenue works or how what economist call the multiplier effects works. You are a typical dems who plays to emotions rather than say how it actually is. When you cut taxes you actually create more revenue and you should keep cutting until revenue drops. . So your so called tax cuts on rich created more revenue than a tax increase did. But dems are against the empowerment of people because they want the power not the people. Amazing concept eh?
