  • Sorry Sarah. Your dad, like George W Bush, is a borrow and spend conservative. Unlike tax and spend liberals, he prefers to pass along the costs of government to future generations.

  • BULLSHIT.. the bastard didn't do anything except help his corporate donors

  • You said that cutting taxes increases revenue. If that's the case, wouldn't both parties support that revenue generating strategy?

  • Lol, you are like a board at angle, you deflect everything instead of hitting the subject on its head. They would not have more power over the people by increaseing tax revenue because people's power would grow larger than the government. Keeping taxs high keeps gorwth smaller and keeps power out people's hands. Empowerment is the farthest thing from your motto. First it was welfare, social security. Next its health care, housing, and maybe disposable income. Rely on gov. for everything!

  • If they had more revenue they'd have more power. So why wouldn't they take your advice to create more revenue? Seems like either they don't want more revenue or your advice doesn't work.

  • No the better question is why don't you get this concept and keep avoiding it. The simple answer to your question, since you asked it, is Democrats don't trust people and desire power and complete control. You are the modern day communist party. Look back at quotes from the communist party head back in the 50's saying I'm done, the dems will accomplish our desires. Bush spent like a sailor, but Dems took over and increased the deficit and increased spending. Fiscal responsibility or Bush V 2.0?

  • Insulting people isn't a good way to win an argument.

Why would Democrats, who you suggest are bigger spenders in spite of the fact that the GOP has an impressive spending record, choose a fiscal policy that brings in less revenue?

  • ya, but we have schmucks like yourself that oppose logic. heck you guys support Universal Health care that has been shown a failure around the world, could it be that simple? By the way next time I call you and your followers idiots its best not to give me the floor by not refuiting my attacks with facts. FYI look at how tax revenue grew after bush cut taxes, but it can't be that simple right?simple.

  • If it was that simple, wouldn't we do it, aniehenke?

  • I guess you don't understand how tax revenue works or how what economist call the multiplier effects works. You are a typical dems who plays to emotions rather than say how it actually is. When you cut taxes you actually create more revenue and you should keep cutting until revenue drops. . So your so called tax cuts on rich created more revenue than a tax increase did. But dems are against the empowerment of people because they want the power not the people. Amazing concept eh?
