is the longer blank the one that got the indent in it? i can't tell, and i got one of these kits and i don't know which blank needs the indent

@majajh a 60 degree live and dead centre, this way you can turn the barrels one at a time without a mandrel which sometimes can give some variations. Doesn't really work well for slimlines or euro style pens unless you have bushings which will also slide inside the brass tube. Maybe its just a mandrel you need if your only starting. You will need to know the MT, morse taper of your headstock

i find 5 min apoxy holds the barrel much better. and when i sand i usually wet sand

nice job, to press the pens together I use a bar clamp I like your bend vise tip.

I also use wood files instead of lathe chisels ,I found it works just as good if not better for the rough cutting ,,,,thanks for shareing your vid.

On a full-sized Delta lathe, what live/dead centers would I need and be able to find to support pen making? I don't want to buy another lathe.
