Live performance of the entire Stranglers album "Rattus Norvegicus" by Hugh Cornwell, former lead singer. Stranglers die-hards Anthony Stalgis, Ian Rowley, and Lee Saynor, witnessed for the first time, Hugh Cornwell singing a song always associated with his band nemesis Jean Jacques Burnel. Classic stuff and well worth the 30 year wait. Enjoy!

  • @TheLexyboy

I know you need jj powerful face

  • Regularly see the Stranglers playing and Hugh and his band playing and they're both still firing it out. There won't be a reunion and it's probably a good thing because I remember some pretty tired performances before Hugh left the band because he couldn't be bothered to learn the licks . That's why John Ellis came in to help out.

  • sadly lacking...... Stranglers fans know what i mean......

  • The best gig he did is glasgow check it out on youtube fantastic.

  • @sofaguard

Maybe twat's a bit strong and yes you're right - he wrote some unforgettable songs - I just think The Stranglers are better live than they've ever been - but at the end of the day that's only one opinion.

I probably should check out Hugh live for myself .

  • WHAT? oh come on, the stranglers suck without hugh. he is not a twat, a fine player, vocalist and songwriter.

  • didnt u say u were at manchester. if they were rubbish why did u go to both gigs??

  • The guy's a twat - can't sing, can't play - The Stranglers sound better now than they've ever done.

  • Was at this gig and it was easily the worst one I´ve been at in a hell of a while. Hugh should just retire. Jessica Rabbit on bass might look good but a musician of quality she is not.

    Rubbish.

  • cooooooooooool
