Huntington Beach High School bomb threat 03/03/10

Police responded to HBHS just a little before 10am when they got a call of a student with a bomb. The student had apparently brought explosives on campus, the principle had requested that the student bring the suspicious device to her office. She then determined that the device was an explosive. The principle of the school then got on the PA and instructed students to evacuate the buildings. Student were evacuated to the football stadium where they waited approximately 40minutes before they were released for the day. Students and faculty were not allowed to take their vehicles so many had to find alternate ways to get home. Main St between yorktown and 17th st were shut down for quite some time while the bomb squad investigated. The news is saying that the kid who brought the explosives was only going to use it for a movie. However, several of the students I spoke with said that the kid has had a history of making threats to students and faculty, one of the threats was only last week. The Huntington Beach Police Department, Orange County Sheriff's Department and Huntington Beach Fire Department were all on scene.

i actualy did a bombing in my school hehehehhe but it wasnt real bombs i mixed this one thing called the works and aluminum foil in a water bottle closed it up shook it and BOOOMMM yeh i got expelled lol and it happened on 9/11 but we was doin it for a week but we got caught on 9/11

my school recieved a bomb threat today... they had the k-9 squad, bomb squad, state troopers, and the fire department there... they kept us outside in 91' heat for 4 hrs and they didnt find out who sent the threat

man, its been like 5 years since i graduated from there, nothing like this ever happened. remembered this one time, the plumming wasnt working, so they sent everyone home
