I love watching the transition from holding crab angle to track centerline into the wing-low approach. He nailed it. I'm thinking there were some gusts that required the increase in bank angle just before touchdown. He touched down in the touchdown zone, main gear first, on centerline, and safely exited the runway (we can assume). That's a good landing in my book.
my Cousin is a Pilot, and Large Aircraft have less then a cerian number of Seocnds to land or if they happen to jump back off the runway they have to full throtle back up into the air and turn around and do it again.
Are you fucking kidding me?

There's another crosswind landing in Montreal
exactly like this one
filmed the very same afternoon with a KLM MD-11
making a spectacular smooth landing.
Type in the searchbox "caiosg" and "KLM extreme landing".
You won't be disappointed.

Geez, talk about bravery and experience in the cockpit.
That's about as sideways as I can remember a plane getting right before touchdown.
