I know a lot has been added since then but I wonder if any of this stuff has now been removed? Massive kudos to the girl doing the intro before the Guy Fawkes piece - her line about the person next to you being stupid is one I've now said to thousands of people on my Ghost Tours.

  • why are they talking about london history.... oh wait i forgot ... america has no history

  • @lushiouspig The only references to London are in relation to York history. Why are you referring to America? This was filmed in Yorkshire, England.

  • @GuildfordGhost i know i was joking

  • @lushiouspig Ah... internet misinterpretation strikes again!

  • Love 'The Dungeons but does anyone agree that it used to be far scarier before it was all done up in the last few years, particulary York Dungeon

  • @TheMinxy76 There's something in that - London has now become a third-rate theme park in some respects, even dealing with things that didn't even happen. However, you also need to consider that as you get older - and, indeed, the more you go to these places - they lose the fright factor.

  • @GuildfordGhost Like sweeney todd ,so out of place next to Jack the ripper and the plauge ,and yet ironically one of the scariets parts of the London dungeon. Its funny when we went there ,my mon dad and me were all worried about my little sister being frightened ,but five minuttes in the door and the atmposphere had us creeped out lol

  • I went here in 1999. scary stuff!

  • Went here today it as totally change now from what it use to be. It was good fun but not scary

  • @GuildfordGhost True, it's become very "American Theme style", I've been to the one in York about 3 times, twice in the 90's (when I thought it WAS a lot better )and again in the last 3 years, I was also at the one in Edinburgh, and even that has become a carborn copy of the recent facelift in York.

Also theres too many "theatrics" in it, yes I know it would make it a bit more "kid friendly" but if I want to pay a heck a lot of money for something scary, I would have gone to the cinema
