This was an old cinema projector I acquired together with a few miles of film. I converted the original tungsten sound exciter light to red LED to read the later cyan soundtracks. The original lighting was a 1000 watt xenon which was a bit too powerful at 18' throw so I've concocted a 250 watt halogen conversion salvaged from a disco lighting machine.
Don't show us the image then...

This isn't a song, this is the intro or ( playin ) music to the second part I.E. part two after the intermission of the Road Show version of " The Guns of Navarone " or, put simply, the 70mm version. Nice mech.

I worked at the Odeon Perry Barr in Birmingham way back in the early 60's and these were the same machines as this one, great projectors but very noisy.

Well done !!
It's always nice to see old cinema equipment in rude health (optical sound certainly wasn't that good back in the old days).
I note that you're using American transport spools. I had around a dozen Kalee spools a few years back when no-one wanted them.
