In this video, I glue the back panel strips to the shelves, add an extra ebony adornment with a slot-cutting bit, and give a relatively lengthy tutorial on chopping the resulting mortise nice and square. I finish up by creating the ebony strips for the front of the top and bottom case pieces and then I finally glue the case together.

  • Is there an issue with Youtube? This segment #9 didn't show up in the list of videos along with the rest of the gadget cabinet. Wondering why I had to go search for it? Everything else was listed in sequence but this one. Curious.

  • Is that a custom paint job on your table saw? It looks like flames at about 11:15?

  • Yessir. It is indeed flames. Someone once told me that everything works better if it has flames on it. I think I took that too seriously. :)
