Snickers, 3 year old aussie coming from horrid puppy mill starts rehab. She will need a LOT of work but this is the start. Today she will spend time in X-pen (out of kennel)expereince other dogs, a crate, a leash, being indoors...considering all is NEW to her...she did fairly well.

  • yes, it is very serious! it is not so much a matter of "rescuing" but more of rehabilitating them after the rescue that I do. Is this a serious question that you are asking? If you seriously would like to learn more, check out my other clips on these dogs and our mission. thanks for your interest.

  • hi carolyn, are you still helping puppy mill dogs and rescuing them?

  • yep, sure am. Have only three of the original dogs left and they are doing well. thanks for your question

  • i just love your red merle, is it a male or female? i have aussies also and i have one exactly like yours. They could pass as twins !

  • She is a female, Snickers. Thanks for your comment. You might be happy to learn that Snickers did get adopted. There is a clip of that day up now. She was very afraid but has since rebounded and is doing well with her new owner.

  • thanks, btw, have you followed the snickers clip "getting adopted?"..don't think it is JD Sumner/think it is a Gaither group.

  • Spayneuter, thank you for your comments. The mill is in Kansas. I don't know the town. They were rescued by a rescue group near me in Mo/ and brought here for rehabbing etc. Thanks for caring

  • vRaZ1el, no the puppy mill sadly is still in full operation with 500 dogs plus/ it is legal. Several dogs were surrendered to an Aussie Rescue group as the dogs were not for varied reasons profitable to the mill anymore. Very sad situation for the dogs.

    Thanks for asking

  • I saw sweet Taffy in front of her TV. I'd also like to know; did you get her at an auction or did the rescue find her and send her to you? I understand why you don't mention the mill's name, but would you consider listing the state and possibly even the town?

  • Thats great!

How did you rescue her from a puppy mill? Did they shut it down or something?
