@barber747 I don't mean any harm, it's just that he was there for 46 years -- 1963 to 2009, and ABC did exactly what they desperately needed to do -- hire a new, younger-sounding sponsorship announcer for the primetime (evening) hours. By the way, thanks for your reply, anyway. Now, about that younger-sounding announcer -- he was hired in the fall of 2005.
