This is what happens when Oakland Police will create false flag incidents to prevent further Police layoffs. "Stop Spending" T-Shirts @ http://executees.net/mens.html

A Tuolumne County man who was involved in a shootout with California Highway Patrol officers in Oakland early Sunday said he was traveling to San Francisco "to start a revolution" by killing people at two nonprofits in the city, according to a probable cause statement released by police.

Byron Williams, 45, of Groveland, intended to target people of importance at the American Civil Liberties Union of Northern California and Tides, a nonprofit that advocates progressive social change through philanthropy, according to the probable cause statement.

  • Motive; he was upset about the national economy and the state of his own finances. The inability to get a job or provide for your own is enough to push many a man over the edge. Our government needs to pay less attention to what is going on overseas and more attention to what is happening at home.

  • Perhaps the Contra Costa County Sheriff will now allow their Deputies to Carry the AR15s in their vehicles. It seems some law enforcement agencies are too scared of negative PR. Give the people on the front lines the tools they need to get the job done and don't put tham at unecessary risk!!!

  • @Spadadiforza

How about you dont give cops any weapons, fucking pigs shoot non violent people all the time

  • Certainly in no way a justification, but the guy who was dumbfounded why The Tides Center would be targeted perhaps is due to the organizations they fund. If they were simply sheltering cats, I don't think they would have been on this guy's radar. As a libertarian, I don't completely disagree with the ACLU, nor what I noted review TTC's site, but I can at least see that it's progressive views, and who they fund, aren't neutral in some cases.

  • Man, if they had known he was heading to the ACLU they prolly would have let him go.

  • I wouldn't be surprised if the media and police twisted this story somehow. More likely that he was going to assassinate actual government officials.

  • @Smatchimo Contra Costa = Richmond? How the heck wouldn't they need it!?

  • @Spadadiforza Thats Alameda County...... They need it, Contra Costa doesnt....

  • I believe its time for us to carry protection from cops and if they shoot without cause then we have to right to protect ourselves against an immenent threat.

  • @Spadadiforza I left Kalifornia because of their Socialist gun policies. They should do to the cops what they have done to the citizenry and remove their weapons. It is a fine example of tyranny and it is way past time to push back.........with lethal force!

  • ....or he could have just been crazy.

  • Most hunting riffles are body armor piercing. Body armor protects against sub-sonic rounds (i.e. pistols)
