This is the reason why I chose homeschooling. Mine read the federalist papers, studied the constitution all with the underlying understanding of Christ driven reasons. Kryteria--highly unlikely that they will be exposed to propaganda? When the former president of the UT school of education said "you can not NOT use the schools as an agent of social change--it's just too easy"? Doesn't sound unlikely to me, rather it sounds to me as if the schools are designed to propagandize.

They don't teach The Constitution or Declaration of Independence or The Fed or why we are here. Ask any student what they learned today.
But seriously, you are satisfied with the public schools? Now that is low standards.

Yeah, let's keep our children inside a bubble. That will prepare them for the world. There are a lot of bad things we don't want our kids to be exposed to in schools, but learning about secularism and Marxism shouldn't be one of them. You have to know about something to argue against it effectively. Education is about critical thinking, not brainwashing.

This video is ridiculous.

It implies children are subject to governmental propaganda in schools. This is highly unlikely - teachers are people too and, especially in America, they are likely to hold similar Christian beliefs to yours.

How are your beliefs under threat?

Yes, but can you teach that in public school?

This is not speaking specifically to you. As an educator how much power do you really have. Does a "great" teacher really have power to utilize their own curriculum or cut out art or gym for say British Literature or biblical studies in the primary grade in a public school setting. Isn't it our right as parents to protect and educate or at least have a "real" say in the education of the children God has allowed us to be over?
