It's not even a matter of it being British humor, it's just that people are over analyzing it. What I like about Dom Joly and Trigger Happy TV is that, unlike most hidden-camera shows, instead of harassing/embarrassing someone, it's more just to amuse and confound the bystanders. For most of the skits, there isn't really a "victim", which I appreciate.
