it's all about luck. lost 4 games and on the fifth the horde king finally moved fast across the field, so I had only lost a few pawns by then. He started beating the horse (which I placed a bit forward and it can soak a shitload of damage) and thus he was turned away from my king till about 30% of his life. I finished him without mush trouble. Aside from being lucky, I think the key is to put some of the stronger pieces between your king and the enemy to soak/deal some damage

Just lost this fight for my 10th time. This video didn't help.

What does being a hunter have to do with anything?

Solo'ed Marks Hunter 85, 4.3 few attempts, lots of luck needed.
Don't doubt Demon/water elementals!

I tested this today, good video and good advice :)

Well, I can get it to me one of my 'rooks" and occasionally a healer/bishop, with the opposing king, a healer and a knight. Unfortunately, I'm usually at about 30% while their king has been conveniently healed up to 100%.

@splicerz OMG NOW WAY TO SURVIVE!!!!!!!!!!!
This fight is still very possible. I solo this whole instance weekly for gold and fun. I would suggest just moving some pawns out and then staying on the king, it seems to be the key for me. If I try and kill the warchief with the mage I can never seem to get the king out of the fire fast enough.

I just cleared this Instance at 85 and encountered no problems with this fight or any others. For those of you having difficulty I can only suggest you watch the video a little closer.

@DragonMSword This was recorded in 3.3. I have not been back to see if the event has changed or is bugged at all since that time. But as I r e call they do indeed "fight" while you are not posessing them, or at least they did at the time of recording.
