by placing a mix of black powder and tissue paper in the cartridges, the gun would fire pencil erasers through paper targets from across the lawn. This would make the toy very dirty rather quickly. It would jam up and often break under these conditions.

sucks that they didn't have these when I was a kid. To worried about making cap guns cheap, out of plastic and with an orange tip so they would be politically correct. Hell today they paint the whole cap gun gun red or blue.

This is why I had a time machine because the only place I could find this it cost over $300,but back then it only cost $3,and the worst part is I LOVE guns,and this would be really fun to toy around with,BUT $300 SUCKS,I WISH THEY WERE STILL $3!
