@windstorm1000 Yes, but don't forget he was trained in the good ol' German symphonic tradition by Reinecke, Jadassohn and later Rheinberger. (Just as MacDowell was educated by my fine namesake!) w/o Germans there would've basically been no "classical" music as we've come to know it. Chadwick certainly has his own distinctive voice, but the the influence of the G-men is certainly never far away.
