@1lordzock1 it shouldnt. the proper way of playing classical guitar, or any fingerstyle is to have the thumb almost parallel to the strings and all four fingers perpendicular. This ensures free movement whereas if you rest your pinky, it becomes very restricted. Also this makes sure that your thumb and fingers don't get in the way of each other (this can happen when playing extremely complex or fast pieces).
