  • does some one know if the lines at- for example- 155-201

are written out or are they improve

    cant figure it out

  • I thought Ustad Ali Akbar was a Tabla-player. The old man (meant politely) was king both on Sador and on Tabla. Thanks for commerorating him.

  • Not just rare, this appears the only set of videos of late Dhyanesh Khan on YouTube...a big THANK YOU is due to sitarjeet.

One is sure Chandranandan will go down in the annals of ICM as second to none in conveying a serene exploration of pathos. I heard Aashish Khan play it last Tuesday in Kolkata in a concert in homage to AAK - he shared a few anecdotes about it too.

  • Part 2 of raag Chandrananan is so beautiful and very soothing. That is Khan Shaheb's technique. So you never get tired of listening to him.

This is certainly a rare collection as we see both late Ustad Ali Akbar Khan and Dyanesh Khan.

He was amazing. Dhyanesh also played very well.

Thank you for posting this rare video.
