You see, it's not I'm lazy, it's that I just don't care. It's a problem of motivation, am I right? Now if I work my ass off and Initech ships a few extra units, I still don't see a cube of ice all day. So where's the motivation? My only real motivation is to avoid hearing another jive ass story of a borrower going out of town or see another LCR - that, and the fear of a boxed coffee shortage.
I also plan reenactment of Peter's disregard for work if an ice maker doesn't appear in the breakroom soon. I'll generally come in at least 15 minutes late and use the side door--that way "Lumberg" can't see me. Heh--and after that, I'll sorta space out for an hour or more during "Quiet Time". I'd do that for probably another hour after lunch too. I'd say in a given week I'll only do about 15 mins. of real, actual, work.
Is there any way someone could, sort of, just zonk me out so that, like, I-I don't know that I'm at work... in here? Could I come home and think that I've been taking Jager shots and greeting Wal-Mart shoppers all day, or something? I just don't think it's normal to have a case of the Mondays on Wednesday.
They moved my desk 4 times already this year. And I used to be over by the window and I could see the squirrels and they were married. Now all I see is a wino's ass crack as he bends over to pick up his can of Old English.
