All we did was put a 15 cent packet of Kool-Aid in the water to dye it so its easier to see the splash on the video. We looked into food coloring, but a packet of Kool-Aid is actually cheaper to color water per galon.

That's not grape kool aid ...its grape drink lol

I shot a box of these through my Taurus Millennium Pro PT-145 and I got constant mis-feeds. The rounds would get stuck right under the feed ramp every 1-3 first rounds of a full clip. Anybody else have problems with either the PT-145 mis-feeding or this ammo?

I will take this stuff over PDX1 any day.

For cheap ammo, not bad.

Better than PDX1

Hey I found some Winchester 'White Box" 230 JHP (45ACP) rounds at Walmart.(50 rounds per box) It is a great round for practice but I also think they would be a good HD round(Home Defense). They cycle really clean in my ACII M1911.....What do you guys know about these WW 230JHPs??? I usually buy the same round from there but the 230 FMJ round for range use. Waiting for your comments on these JHPs. Thanks & Stay safe!!

@SoccerBalbus .45 ACP is an auto pistol round. It is rimless and made when black powder was old tech compared to the new smokeless powders that take up much less case space. The .45 S&W I had to look up. I thought you might have meant .40 S&W. Apparently the .45 S&W is another name for the .45 Schofield, which was a competitor for the .45 Long Colt in the black powder era. It is a slightly shorter round than the .45 LC. .45ACP and .45S&W are totally different and are not interchangeable.

out of all the rounds you've tried, which one offered the best expansion?

@JaKeStA002 Grizzly Xtreme was the widest. Also see Federal HST, Winchester Ranger-T, Speer Gold Dot.

@JaKeStA002 I initially had an issue with the mag dropping during firing. (See the bloopers reel) After a trip to the factory (they paid shipping both ways - total time out was 6 weeks) it has been flawless. I can say that all the FTF in the AT1/2 series tests were likely attributed to this issue. Overall I like it. I wanted a double stack .45 ACP with an external hammer and this fit the bill. No issues at all now with any type of ammo shape.
