Just a short video (mistakes and all) looping with various modes on the SMMH.

Modes used: 3 second delay for the first set of tones, then on to 1 second multi-tap set for very short repeats that increase in volume, and lastly the reverse mode.

Amp set to crystal clean, the slight crunch sound is coming from the Eternity clone, with gain down pretty low. Guitar is a Fender Classic Player 50s Strat, various pickup selections used.

Sound quality a bit grim - recorded on a small digital camera, nothing fancy.

  • really good but sounds like lateralus intro

  • It wasn't intentionally like that, but that's one of my favourite songs and Tool are one of my favourite bands, so I'll take that as a compliment :)

  • wow man...truly beautiful

btw, thx for your comment on my video :D

  • Thanks!

  • Thanks!

  • Great job. :)

Have you tried your Eternity clone against the real thing? I'm intrigued with how close it can get to a real Eternity.

Check out my SMMH video.. I think you'll like it.

  • Thanks man, I appreciate the comments on here.

The Eternity clone.... I'll be honest, I haven't played an original Eternity. This one is supposedly built to the Eternity 'Burst' specs, though I didn't get anal about which types of resistors and caps to use.

I've owned a TS9 in the past and it's similar, as you'd expect from a TS variant. This one has a LOT more gain and volume available than a TS9, but it cuts bass and adds treble more.

Just watching your video now, it's really good :)

  • awesomeness!

  • nice job. good use of synth wah. i have the line 6 fm 4 and and have yet to find a way to use a good synth sound and this is a good start.

  • awesome...simply awesome!!! i'm so happy for you man.. keep your imagination alive

  • Great job! And nice arsenal! Thanks for showing folks here the utility of the Synth Wah. I've had this pedal for a while and am always surprised at how many people get rid of it or knock it. If used right it can create some AMAZING sounds. Keep up the good work!

  • synth wah, eh? Ima havta check that out

  • @Tibbonds can't shake your influences, isn't that the point?

  • It does indeed sound a lot like Lateralus , beautifull nonetheless.

  • i noticed that too
