Sorry the camera I used on this was so crummy - it was a REALLY great show. Had no idea I'd be in the presence of greatness or would have brought a hi-def. ;)

  • You guys sound great on this song!!! Very Nice!!!

  • nice job on a cool tuune

  • nice job! one of my all-time faves, along with "what's so funny"

  • very cool version boys! this song was one my favorites back in college, and you guys did a cool version of it,,props to the keyboard player

  • you're not thinking of "Heart of Glass" by Blondie, are you? that sure was disco, but Nick Lowe???

  • I think this is pretty true to the "Lowe number".

  • Many thanks. I've listened to most of the Nick Lowe versions but it still doesnt sound like the original version I heard way back when. I still think the copy I heard was from Jules & the Polar Bears but I may well be wrong. I have a friend in Austin, Tx who had the albumn back in the day. Let me see what I can find.

  • Search for it under Nick Lowe, or Sound of Breaking Glass, that's how i found it, it's the version straight off the soundtrack to little monsters

  • Can someone find(!) and post the version by Jules & The Polar Bears? (circa 1979-82)

I had it on vinyl but it's long gone and according to most sources, not available on any format. This may solve mine, dicky's & UlfenDaddy's search. Thanks!!
