Afghan officers investigated in attack over Karzai-02 May 08

The presidential guard in Afghanistan is being investigated after the attempted assassination of Hamid Karzai.

As Al Jazeera's Zeina Khodr reports from Kabul, Taliban attackers are thought to have had inside help for the attempted coup.

Taliban can't fight face to face, but instead they kill innocent people. Shame on them for taking advantage of Islam. Islam was not meant to be used like that. Karzai might not be 100% succesful learder, but we can't forget that he has put in life in jeapordy for the Afghan people many times. Honestly I think that noone could have been a better job him. Our previous leaders were mostly thieves and murderurs so Karzai seems the right choice for me. 30 years of war can't solve in 5 years

You guys all need a learning lesson regarding what a terrorist is...first of all none of the 29 hijackers on 9/11 were AFghans so it makes no sense to go into war with Afghanistan except for the benefit of the US Gov. Also Afghanistan will never be occupied so I feel sorry for these Nato occupiers fighting a war with no cause and ending
