@BizarreFilms This is impossible. That would mean that the ceremonial sabbath you speak of would have also been a preparation day for the so called sabbath on the 23rd????? Nowhere in the Scriptures does it ever mention this kind of thing happening.

@mkemp90 Oh and the 8th day is called sabbath but it is not the Shabat. It is translated ffrom the Hebrew word Shabatan (excuse the spelling) which is kept different from the Shabat. it is not a weekly Sabbath. And the Sabbath in John 9:14 is exactly 24 weeks (7 day segments) from the Sabbath after the crucifixion. To determine this you must first understand the Hebrew calendar including leap year and when days are added or taken from 2 of the months.

@mkemp90 The link you sent doesn't work. If the 8th day isn't part of the feast then why is it called the 8th day? no special mention is made for the 7th day of the feast so it cant be the great day. I've studied this extensively, it's simply not biblical. I'll show you what I've found if you will study it with me. If your mind is closed then I can't help you see that it is heresy.

@BizarreFilms No need Daniel. The scriptures are very clear. It was a 7 day feast which started on the 15th. The 7th day of the feast fell on the 21st which was the Last Great Day. It can be no other way. Then the 8th day after the feast was the 22nd and was the Sabbath as well as the Holy Convocation. The very same Sabbath day that Yahusha healed the blind man. Please remember that it was 7 day feast...not an 8 day feast. Did you watch the section of the video I referenced?

@princeofroyalty2 Yes, the fatal flaw of this lunar sabbath idea is that the lunar cycle is not 28 days long. The lunar sabbath is not supported by scripture. Ive studied this from every angle, it's simply non-biblical.

@mkemp90 Well, I wrote my comment on my iPhone and I see that I didn't finish what I intended to say. You are right that the 8th day lands on the 22nd. What I meant to say was that in John 9:14 that Sabbath is on the 23rd. It says that it was the day after the last day, the great day of the feast. The only great day of the feast is day 8 which is a ceremonial sabbath. So that makes a weekly Sabbath land on the 23rd of the month. See what I mean?

@BizarreFilms I believe that you have a math problem here. The feast started on the 15th and went for 7 days INCLUSIVLY. 15th=first day of the feast, 16th=day2, 17th=day3, 18th=day4, 19th=day5, 20th=day6, 21st=day7, and the 22nd=day8. Thus proving that the Sabbath was on the 15th and the 22nd. Please read it carefully next time.
