One of the best sets I've ever seen, can't believe people were walking in their numb, dumb drones to see Kings of Leon for the third time that year...horrible
-
"Weirdly on wings and with maximum pain" is such an amazing fucking line.

@foleyxl18 If you'd actually attempted to read my comment, you would have realised that I said that Nick Cave *hasn't* gone stale or predictable. Refrain from = avoid, if that helps your limited English skills.
-
@buckleygeneration How could you call his music stale and predictable? Any of it? Listen to mainstream radio and then you'll know what predictable is.
-
That Mr. Cave is able to refrain from going stale and predictable in his writing, and actually manage to write one of his very best lyrics this late in his career is so amazing to me.
-
I remember watching this as it was broadcast and being simultaneously thrilled, occasionally disappointed, but generally so fuken pleased that it was Nick Cave night.

Calling on the idiot false Kings!!!! Explain!!! Underestimate the forgotten LOONATICS! (While you were were f'getting to be human, forgetting us..) go ahead.. underestimate. winks and nudges.. idiot judges.
-
Seriously, does anyone have an MP3 of this performance?

When they played this at Oxegen in 2009, it was like a wall of air hitting you when the distortion hit in, it was fucking insane!
This is so absolutely fucking insanely brilliant!!!!! Warren crawling on the floor hitting pedals and making noise and Nick, like the devil's son delivering his spike and nails poetry. So fucking brilliant.
