My first animation using Cinema 4D. This was so much fun. Also my first time using a new video editor. Corel Video Studio Pro X3.

@melonfx Thanks. I wish I could change the description now but the comments would look odd. The funny thing is I've done maybe a 100 animations since but I still kinda thing this works really well where as some stuff that's technically a lot harder I'm too ashamed to even upload. Ho hum.

@iTzAmpliFy Sorry it took 10 years for me to reply. That was a really sloppy comment from me. What I really meant to say was, I'd been using Cinema 4D for years but was always too afraid of animation to even touch it. So I knew the software well, I'd just never made an animation that resulted in a file. I didn't mean to come across like, hey I'm so cool because i did this first go. I actually suck big hairy balls compared to most people animating in c4d. I just cheat with dynamics to fake it :)

@3dbomb01 I've used it before multiple times; and I actually tried it again based on your reply; and honestly, I just cannot get used to the simplicity of the workflow; it makes me feel stupid.

It is a fantastic program, however; it simply is not for everyone.

@wegopwoductions Music is just something I put together with sample loops. Again, really just cheating. Pretending I'm a musician using software that makes me feel like I am without all the stress of actually studying until my fingers bleed plucking guitar strings or something

@SethiXzon Don't hate the c4d, it's outstanding software and 2011 has been the year its started to break into the big studios. Some world class work being done in it now. I still haven't become very good with it. It's a bit like chess, easy to learn the rules but it'll take you a lifetime to master, or maybe it just feels that way to me.

@techpops The simplicity of the aforementioned piece of software is the primary reason I dislike Cinema4D.

@iTzAmpliFy It's actually a very simple animation. Cinema 4D takes care of all the dynamics. This is something anyone could do on their first day with cinema. There's no real hard work here. Just put the elements in the scene, assign dynamic tags and hit play. The rest is video editing to drag out a simple shot into something more appealing. Even the lighting here is a one click "add physical sky" and its done. Just shows how sweet cinema 4D really is.
