  • Under single payer the government handles the money and pays all the bills. Instead of 1,500 payers you would have one. Single payer is not free, there is a payroll tax of 4.5%, $4.50 for every 100 dollars you make. No premiums, no co-pays, no deductibles, no out of networks. This is only for US citizens.
