you should have listend in 01 02 03 04. Artie was fucking hilarious. everything he said was funny. he didn't go into the woe is me soap opera stories. he really didn't talk that much but when he did it was funny. he was more genuine back then. Now he is a drama queen attention whore. I listen to the Howard Stern show not the artie lange show. Artie is a phony, he is a liar, his book is a bunch of lies, but the same people who watch john and kate plus 8 love artie, because they are losers

He wishes he was half as funny as Farley. The heroin, the coke, the drinking....it's all a bit.  He has tried but in no way could he be classified an addict. Everything Artie has said about himself is a bit, he is trying to create this persona as an out of control person, for fans and their money. He knows how much people loved Farley and Belushi and he's trying to get some of their heat. he is a wannabe.

Good to see Belushi mentioned. I wish more people my age knew that he started it all. I honestly don't think even Farley came close. At least, I think Belushi was more clever.

radio is different than television dude, also Artie "growls" on stern as you say because he has to get up a 4:00 in the FUCKING MORNING. Artie isn't a phony, Artie is the most honest fucking person I've heard. He doesn't hold back and shares his stories like heroin and coke abuse. So many other stars do drugs but they wouldn't dare tell you about it.

also i always thought that growling he did was just so people would kind of know hes thinking and youre not getting dead air cause thats bad for radio but i dont know
