@08turboSS its hard to find any base 135i and if you do the lowest u can get a 135i plus tax is close to 40k already. Pretty they are price pretty close to the 335i alittle bit cheaper.

The new 370z is over 3500 lbs... the 135i is 3373 lbs....you can get a nice equipted135 base at 34k...topping at 44k, the 370z is 30k for base model all the way upto 40k similar in price....

The build quality of the 1 series is the same as the 3 and 5 series..for $500 you can pump up the 300hp\300tq 135 to 370 hp\380 tq wich will enable the 1 to destroy the top line nissmo 350hp 370z.. The nissmo model of the z actually adds 70 lbs of weight to the car so the 20 hp increase is no good....

I do agree that the BMW M3 is much better. If i bought the 135i which i like, i still would feel a bit like, even though it's quite a bit more money, would i of rather saved and a few years later got an M3.

And to mean that means absolutely nothing, because honestly i really could care less what other people think of my car. I choose a car by looking at what it will do for me. Sure it would be nice to have a BMW M3 or a Porsche 911 of some sort but as long as their is something that in my opinion is better looking, and costs way less money I will buy the cheap thrills version. As least until I have grown up, matured, and need something with four seats I.E. a BMW M3 or M1 when they make it.

You may not think it is better, but the new Nissan 370z is lighter, has 332hp, imo better styling. And to top it off its about $10,000 less fully loaded, vs a 135i with the sport package only. (135 has over $5,000 more in options other than sport package.)

What a peice o'crap. If you can't afford a real BMW, save up. THis is the junk that kills a brand.
