  • Good things happen when you focus on your ability rather than your disability.

  • The NEXT generation human being ! The definition of the true human RACE !!!! when he lands his FULL BODY weight on that prosthetic .. u can see HOW confident he is that just that ONE step alone is enough to balance his entire body on it, risking ultimate failure and serious injury in the process !!! None of the other athletes have to think of any such eventuality :)

  • Fantastic performance from blade runner!

  • What happened Tony... smh

  • @simplejacko yeah you sum it up unknowingly, Pistorius was more lucky in life than one might think at first glance, he got a disability that could be compensated. He's even tweaking the rules to have his wish come true, it's like Cinderella but instead of meeting Prince Charming he met Nike, good lawyers, and carbon fiber. Still, Chapeau!

  • SIMPLISMENTE D+ ISSO SIM É SUPERAÇÃO, QUE SIRVA DE ISPIRAÇÃO PARA AS PESSOAS QUE SE ACHAM INUTES POR TER LIMITAÇÕES PARA SEGUIR ADIANTE, VC SIM OSCAR PISTORIUS É UM VENCEDOR..... IAGO BRASIL

  • maybe if he was winning n breaking records i would cry foul but he's not n don't look fast so i dont see the big deal.if anything he should be seen as an inspiration 2 people with disabilities

  • the simple fact that a man, born with this kind of disabilty, had the vision to become a professional athlete is mindblowing, and for that, i deeply respect and admire this guy. all the effort and discipline, not knowing if its gonna work out...chapeau!

  • What kind of nonsense are these posts? What risk of injuries whatsoever? The risk of injury in the prosthetics is significantly lower than for any human being. The most common injuries athletes of this kind suffer are; joints, achilles, knee injuries. He doesn't suffer from the training strains which are the major progress limit for athletes. His prosthetics reflect the power the way srpings do, which is forbidden for everyone else. It's wonderfuf he lives his life, but it's not a fair game.
