I have ridden this carousel many times from when I was a little girl. Always loved it...it was magical to ride. I still love it and ride it every summer when I go the wonderful beach that is Nantasket :-)
I got to ride the Paragon Park carousel with my fiance', Martha and her friend, last summer. I loved it! I'm 63, and had a mild stroke over a year ago, I use a walker, as my balance is kinda flaky. I didn't let this deter me from riding this carousel. I enjoy things, like theater organs, automated, coin-operated musical instruments, like nickelodeons, orchestrions, band organs, such as the one on the carousel, etc. I'm turned onto carousels, I'll go again, no matter how dizzy I get! :-)
This is a fantastic carousel, and according to NCA census, it has a Wurlitzer model 146B. I am especially fond of the PTC's, especially the jumpers. Sadly, there are no PTC's here in Oregon. Ironically, one of the finer carousels, PTC #15 at Palisades Center Mall, in West Nyack is owned by a family in Portland, OR. I delighted in riding that one several times at Expo86, in Vancouver BC. I hope in the near future I can visit NY and ride it once again.
Yep, that's a classic PTC carousel. It would be helpful if you can provide some stats like when it was built and what band organ it has if any. Also, I'd like to see more of the carousel in the video as well.

Hopefully I'll be visiting this carousel shortly. I live not far from Nantasket beach and I've yet to see this carousel.
Like yourself, I'm into carousels and it still is one of my most favorite rides. ^^
