August 16th, 2008 The most romantically creative and thought out Proposal of all time!

Intro:

Jesse had asked Brianne to take off from work so they could have a day to themselves. Jesse was still working out on Long Island but we had recently moved into our Astoria apartment so every time we saw each other we were busy working on the apartment. So Brianne was glad to have a day to relax and see Jesse, Jesse picked her up the night before at work and they drove out to Long Island.

The Day of:

They got ready and drove off. Brianne didnt have a clue what was planned for the day Jesse only told her to bring something nice to wear so she just thought they'd be going out to dinner. Surprise! They arrive at Tranquility Day Spa. Were getting massages, Jesse says. Brianne thinks its awesome and is very excited. The spa attendant takes Brianne first and says somebody will be with Jesse in 10 minutes. So Brianne thinks nothing of it and goes in and gets a 1 hour full body massage. Feeling fully relaxed Brianne is in the waiting area expecting Jesse to come out any minute from his massage. The spa attendant brings Brianne over a tray with some wine, cheese, and fruit. Brianne sitting there waiting eating cheese looks over at two of the spa attendants and notices the girls looking at her and kind of smiling and then quickly looking away. Confused and still waiting Brianne picks up a letter thats on the tray and starts to read it. About 8 and a ½ years ago we started a life altering journey The spa attendant brings over the car keys. Brianne freezes. Continues reading and It all kicks in. She finishes the letter then rereads it. Then rereads it again. It is clearly written by Jesse, which says he is waiting for her where it all started and that she is to come and find him. On the back of the letter is a map. Treasure hunt! Brianne loves treasure hunts! She grabs the keys leaves the spa and gets on her way to Longwood Jr. High School where they first met. While shes driving Briannes giggling to herself thinking shes pretty sure this is the day shes been waiting for. As she pulls into the Jr. High parking lot she sees Jesse there standing next to a folding chair. Brianne gets out of the car runs up to Jesse kisses him and is expecting it to happen right here but Jesse doesnt say much. Brianne then realizes on the folding chair is a single red carnation with another letter! Its a clue, which says she has to drive to where they had their first kiss. So they get in the car, Brianne is all smiles Jesse is just being calm. Brianne finds out Jesse never got a massage he was picked up by his Mom and brought to the Jr. High. They arrive at Coram Movieland Cinemas where they had their first date and first kiss. There Brianne finds another clue which says to first give Jesse another kiss ;), which she did, then look in the trunk of the car for "your supplies." Brianne goes to the trunk and finds a pair of jeans, boots, a camera, blankets, tissues, another clue and a shovel all of which she's been driving around with the whole time. Brianne is very confused. The next clue is directions to a Wadding River beach and it says to make a right and walk along the shoreline until you find a symbol of love So they drive to the beach. Once there they take their supplies and start walking along the shoreline. After a short distance Brianne sees in the sand a heart shaped out of rocks. Theres something sticking out of the sand, Brianne goes over and brushes away the sand and has now realized why she needed the shovel. So she starts digging and reveals a big brown treasure chest that was buried a foot deep in the ground. She pulls out the chest getting very excited, realizing this is it what shes been waiting for, opens it and there in the center of a chest is a ring box. Brianne getting all teary eyed opens the box and there is one last clue which reads And so begins a new beginning Thats when Jesse gets on one knee, asks Brianne to stand up, pulls the ring out of his sock, and says Brianne Roenbeck, will you marry me? And She says, YES! They kiss and are all excited. Jesse reveals that the treasure chest also has a bottle of wine with two glasses in it. So they relax on the beach for about an hour enjoying the gorgeous weather and the wine. Just as they're ready to leave a woman approaches with two horses. Jesse turns to Brianne and says, Youve always wanted a horseback ride on the beach Brianne is in shock and can't believe all this! Jesse went above and beyond and Brianne couldn't be happier. So the two of them rode off into the sunset to begin the next phase of their journey together

The happiness she must of felt, the butterflys in her stomach to know that all he wants is her for the rest of his life and for her to say yes to him makes him so happy to know she wants the same with him.
