The Subcommittee on International Human Rights of the Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs and International Development met in a televised session at 12:34 p.m. this day, in Room 253-D, Centre Block, the Chair, Scott Reid, presiding.
Members of the Subcommittee present: Wayne Marston, Scott Reid, Mario Silva, David Sweet and Ève-Mary Thaï Thi Lac.
Acting Members present: Francis Scarpaleggia for Hon. Irwin Cotler and John Weston for Russ Hiebert.
Witnesses: Democratic Party of Iranian Kurdistan: Sharif Behruz, Member.
Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Subcommittee on Tuesday, March 3, 2009, the Subcommittee resumed its study of Human Rights in Iran.
