For the people that are not to good at the game, just use Specialist strike-package. It develops your gun on gun skills and makes you not really on kill-streaks to get your kills.

ya those are terrible tips to give to new players.
mostly what i tell people is play calm and for fun, everybody gets bs killed once in a while. nobody plays well angry, and it helps if you shadow better players. see the choke points they use, and high traffic areas to stay away from.
*camping might keep you from going negative, but nobody gets better at the game by sitting in dark corners and waiting for targets. also it is very boring, and dirty :O
