Well my dream came true and now I too have my own fancy LED cube.
Again it is based on the arduino and this is just a little test for it.
I hope I will have more time to write some cool animations for it and not just scrolling text.
I used 5 shift registers just because I wanted to keep my code simple and clean.

  • Oh ya I am using an arduino mega

  • I have been having some trouble with my led cube, I have all me connections directly plugged into my cube. I can only treat a column as one led. I was wondering if you could give me some clarification on how to use one shift register

  • OMG man your so awsome, make me a kid!( I love you dude)

  • how did you program it to use shift registers, and what microcontroller did you use?
