  • You can save the maps the unwrapped map with a script from the scripts editor....it is much easier to make make the texture

  • For me it's sometimes difficult to know where the features of the mesh are when painting it. Like the stripes on the shirt, it would have been very difficult to know where those should go just by looking at the mesh in Photoshop. I think each method has its pros and cons.
