I am sorry that your furbaby will be losing a leg but you can see NO PROBLEM. If you look at some other videos I have posted you will see that she can drag her older "brother" around as well. She is a very tough, agile girl. I am sure you find the same for your Shepred. Keep me posted on how she is doing.

My Rotty has to have his right front leg amputated this week and watching Cassidy has been a HUGE help in the process of understanding and accepting the process and has given us a GREAT deal of hope and a brighter outlook for the days to come! Thank you SO much for sharing these wonderful videos! My dog and Cassidy are SO much alike! Bowling balls, laser pointers, playing with his dog brothers, etc. I really appreciate these posts! Thank You!!

@TCStregani THANK YOU for watching Cassidy and her crazy brothers. You will be amazed how how quickly your furbaby get's up and going. There is no doubt that we are bigger babies than dogs ;-) Just this morning she went on a VERY long walk/run and then swam. She taught herself to swim because she didn't like that her older brother was having fun and she wasn't. The hardest part will be to keep the weight down because you will want to give treats.... Let me know how everything goes.

@PieceGirl12 No need to feel sorry for Cassidy. She rules her two brothers, who are bigger than her. When I first got her (with only 3 legs) I learned from the rescue person that she was happier after the leg was taken off. She is the most agile of our dogs. She can do anything. Thnnk You for caring.

So nice to see this and thanks so much for posting. Our 2 year old Shepherd was hurt yesterday and the vet says she'll have to lose a front leg at a cose of nearly $900. I prayed about it and thought to look for some help here. Your video gives me peace that the cost of amputation is worth it because she really won't lose any quality of life. í was attacked and bitten as a kid by 2 rottweilers,so after that incident i was scared like hel of all dogs. But when i was older,somebody told me the only way to get over my fear of dogs is to get one myself,and so that is what i did, i got a dog ,mix between newfie and bernese and landseer(5 years ago),and eversince i lost all my fear of dogs,actually i am dog crazy now.
