Final version of my alu can project. Made with Maya, Photoshop, After Effects and Premiere. Compressed with mpeg4 for fast viewing, not max quality here. Would´ve liked to work more the quality of the can deformation sped up in comp, but time´s up.
-Linear workflow with OpenExr-files and color management throughout.
-Can opening with blendshapes.
-Can deformation with nCloth.
-Lighting is IBL with home made HDRI-probe and spotlight for specular highlights.
-All materials are Mia_material_x_passes.
-Brushed aluminum shader with anisotropy and procedural specular map.
-Double sided shader on can, pepsi/coke label on outside, aluminium on inside.
-Render with Mental Ray render passes to multi-channel Exr-files.
-Composited in After Effects in linear workspace.
-Music from "Panta mera"-website.
