Funky, soulful, hypnotic, shamen like live performance from one of the greatest singer- songwriters.He's up there with all the great soul singers. Big influence on the Stones And what a fucking voice! I love Bobby Womack.

Bobby Womack is a soul survivor. He has written, sung, played, and produced on so many soul classics. He played with Sam Cooke, he was a studio musician down in Muscle Shoal Alabama, sang lead with The Valentinos (his brothers), and of course his own solo career. His Poet series of recordings was an incredible period. His voice is sweet and sour.
