yea, small niche.. that includes the military, LEO, firefighters, etc ..

As for who is responcible for the 'economy' ..

"no single drop thinks it is responcible for the flood"

  • The E1 Executive is smaller. But this one's better.

  • @urkingod Got a P5 and a P7 at home, both are great lights and uses commonly available batteries. I do like Surefire products especially the G2X Pro but what deters me from buying is the power source, CR123A is really expensive.

  • @GearBuyersGuide That funny, just say "I have a job!"

  • @spiritsword83 AND, while we're on the subject, Surefire is a niche company that makes products for a small percentage of civilian enthusiasts, but mostly to the United States and other military fields. For me to go "cheap" as you say on a tactical flashlight would hardly put a dent in our economy.

  • @GearBuyersGuide technology, after all, the major corporations are the ones who choose to have their products made over seas to line their pockets in the first place. THAT's why we lost the lead. Talk about hypocrisy!

  • @GearBuyersGuide Not upset in the least bit. Not defending Fenix, either. All I'm saying, SIR, is that I BELIEVE Surefire's are overpriced and underpowered compared to the competition. The build quality is excellent, the fit and finish are excellent, etc etc. I'm not saying one is better than the other, only that I personally, will pay less for a brand like Fenix, in order to get the most bang for my buck in the flashlight field. BTW, don't blame the comsumer for the US getting behind on...

  • @spiritsword83

    I don't agree at all.

Sounds like you are upset? Are you conflicted being a "convservative" and defending an almost 100% forign purchase like that?

I own fenix lights, and I resepct how well they are made.. in fact I carry one too

But I'll defend the Surefire purchase at just $20 more any day of the week .. to say the imports are better is just going too far, they simply are not

Your POV lost the US any lead with cars, TVs, Computers, and I'm sure flashlights will join them

  • @GearBuyersGuide Don't give me that defending American companies bullshit, because I am a conservative and know all about it. I try to buy American as much as possible, but when it comes down to products such as these, Surefire is overpriced and underpowered. Simple as that. Its akin to paying 100 bucks for a t shirt with an Italian name on it thats made in Sri Lanka. I KNOW Surefire makes great products. But they are overpriced and underpowered next to the competition, thats all.
