Health Care Bill: So Now What?

As the focus on health care reform shifts to the Senate, analysts aren't expecting the chamber to pass an overhaul bill any time soon. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid must come up with a plan that will gain the support of moderate Democrats. (Nov. 9)

Although the majority of Americans are happy with their health care plans, Polosi and her band of runaway thugs passed this death sentence on America and the American freedoms we enjoy. She passed it in the middle of the night while we were sleeping. Now is the time to make your voice heard to Washington. Tell your Senate leaders if they vote for this they are going home! Vote out any member of Congress that voted for this disaster and tell everyone you know!

What is the average health insurance premium per month for a family of four in the States? I pay $100 per month for our hospital-HMO equivelant here in Canada . Please no swearing in replies. Thanks.

According to the CBO, a family of four earning $54,000 in 2016 would be eligible for a subsidy of $10,100 to help defray the cost of insurance under the health legislation. By then, one of the most popular federal plans, a nationwide Blue Cross and Blue Shield policy, is projected to cost more than $20,000.

That family earning $54,000 would pay a monthly premium costs of more than $825. What a deal! Can you afford health care reform? Look out high paid union workers.

I'm not sure we're looking at the same piece of legislation. If it were all just the Dems bullying their way through, the public option would be the only option left and the whole abortion conversation folks are having wouldn't be.
