Cleansing The Space

This is a short video on five quick ways to purify and cleanse the space, ridding it of negative energies.
The first way is by using water or some such liquid to spray about the room, salt water or lavender water are good ones.
The second way is by fire, using a candle to burn the stale energies away.
The third, is by using a smudge stick and smudging the air, sage and rosemary are good ones.
The forth is by using a bell, shaker or sound where you basically shake it about the room to shuffle the energies away.
The last is a similar method that involves fanning the energy away by use of ribbons, feathers or even a besom.

Chants can be included when you cleanse the space such as:

"Minions of dark now quit this space, for only the light will I embrace."

"Energies of love and light, banish the dark and clear my sight!"

"I banish the dark to bring the light, I banish the dark to bring the light."

@kkll02 Well the new moon is good for new beginnings so to clear the old and make way for the new. Or you can do it on the waning moon to get rid of bad energies. Day or night :) x

Hey I have a quick question. there is a house for sale really cheap that Im looking into buying. Everything you would want in a house and a pool for a cheap price but the only catch is that the previous owner died in it. He shot his wife then himself in the master bedroom. By burning sage you think it will rid of any bad spirits in the house?....

@vinamel97 Ahh that is a tricky one... It utterly depends. If the spirits are still there then you may want to call in a professional as well as burn sage and have protective amulets and symbols about the house. If the spirits aren't there still then the biggest issue is yourself. Are you going to be frightened a lot by it? If so then you will add to the negativity xx

@vinamel97 Woh that's really spooky on the concidence. It's ok since you didn't purchase and live in that house, in the end. Speaking of concidence, i don't know about you but it may be that the spirit chooses you and hope you would buy and own that house...you know the saying goes: likes attract likes. Fortunately, the thing didn't succeed. All the best for your new home!

@kkll02 / thanks for your input. Yes we decided to go with a different house. after researching the history of the couple that lived in that house it was kind of freaky to find out that we pretty much went to the same school and has had the same marital issues.

thought i share something: my mum's friend bought a flat where he always quarrel with his wife, leading to divorce now. He didn't bear to sell the flat so he rent it out but within a few months time, the tenant kill his two children, along with wife after some time of bitter argument. I thought my mum's friend was lucky to be alive as it could be him and his family. Since then, neighbour heard noises in middle of the night. Some house just bring bad luck, whether you're affected, really depends.

@vinamel97 I think it's not only the spirit you would want to be wary of. What makes the previous owner kill his wife and himself in that house, is also another factor to consider. It might have something to do with the house bad fengshui as well. Are you married? If yes, you might want to consider getting a house that doesn't comes with a bad vibe like this. You don't want to follow on the previous owner's footstep do you? Precaution is better than prevention.
