They act like the OWS crowd of today! Whiney dips.

what is a market?
the word means nothing in that context
understand that your beliefs are just those you were brought up into, you didnt even make up your own mind, same reason that you dont believe in Zeus.
have you experienced life without government and property, NO
and you dont even live in a market society, you live in a corrupt monoplised layer cake of class warfare, boom and bust, and propagandised news channels.

@robin22391 Thank God I am a member of a market society. And proud of it.

John Gowdy writes, "Assumptions about human behaviour that members of market societies believe to be universal, that humans are naturally competitive and acquisitive, and that social stratification is natural, do not apply to many hunter-gatherer peoples."
here is another 3 societies for you
Çatal Höyük and Jericho and Harappan

trying to better your life isnt greed.
greed is the result of scarcity.
but first, what do you mean by society?
the uncontacted tribes of the andaman islands have lived on the same islands for 60,000 years, peaceful and they go to war with no one, they all work together and everyone is fed and housed, by the laws of greed half the island should be eenslaved....but no.
look, our countries have increased their wealth 1000x fold and still the poor are stuck as cattle.

so wrong

@robin22391 If greed isn't human nature then name ONE human society since the dawn of civilization that hasn't made the accumulation of wealth, power or land its primary focus. Even the native Americans fought with each other endlessly over hunting grounds. The Greeks, Romans, Egyptians, Zulus, Mongolians, Sumerians... and all before our so-called 'monetary system' existed.
Greed is the default setting for humanity, and anyone who says otherwise is either hopelessly naive and/or ignorant.

@SagaciousSilence "Greed, for lack of a better word, is good."
"the universe is indifferent"
