in regards to why TWC "upgraded" (their words) the software - a district contractor supervisor (i was a contract slave, oops i mean contract installer for TWC) that the system is more user friendly (and installer friendly too), has a better GUI, loads quicker and is just generally "better" than the previous software..

btw, channel 1900 (you have to key it in, its not in the guide) will display what the techs use to make sure the box will perform correctly. it can help

You don't have to reboot. Mystro does it for you! My cable box reboots itself three or four times a week! LOL
